Nestled on the picturesque shores of Lake Placid, our Inn is within easy walking distance to all that the village has to offer downtown: shops, restaurants, entertainment and the Olympic Center. Lake Placid is located in the "high peaks" of the Adirondack Park and is a year-round resort. Whatever season you choose to visit, our staff is dedicated to making your stay an enjoyable and relaxing experience.

THE MALLARD
Built in the Adirondack style, this newly constructed lakeside cottage was designed with the guest in mind. Enjoy the spectacular views of Lake Placid and Whiteface Mt. Relax in the warm glow of the fireplace from the kitchen, living room, or loft bedroom. The amenities include: full bath/shower, wood cathedral ceilings, cable TV, telephone, paddle fan and air conditioning. The french doors in the living room open to the front porch, Lake Placid, and a beautiful meditation pool. There are two bedrooms in the upstairs loft. The master bedroom has a queen size bed and wonderful views. The adjoining bedroom has a double bed.

This area is well known for it's winter sports and activies, but is equally busy in the warm months for outdoor fun. If you enjoy downhill or cross country skiing, we have discount packages for both.The High Peaks region of the Adirondack Park has over 46 mountain peaks to climb, abundant rivers, streams and lakes for fishing, canoeing, boating, etc. The area has numerous out museums, scenic attractions, as well as, a bounty of great restaurants and unique shops. Live Theater and music is everywhere in the summer months, and 3 major golf courses, which we offer discount packages for.
