This is a beautifully decorated two-story apartment under a garage, built into a steep hill at the foot of Lyon Mountain in the northermost Adirondacks. It is on the road side of Upper Chateaugay Lake. It has an elevator between floors. A fine sandy beach with no drop-offs is available, with a canoe and row boat. We are one hour north of Lake Placid and Whiteface Mountain, and one and a half hours from Montreal.
The apartment has smooth-top electric cooking and refrigeration, and new electric washer and dryer. There are three little ponds and a fountain, with beautiful gardens, just outside your windows. There are fine art decorations throughout, and I am past president of the local arts association.
This is an all-season location, with ice fishing and cross country skiing in winter.
