Description of this Adirondacks Vacation Rental House

Contemporary home on 300 feet of lakefront just 2 ½ hours from New York City. Enjoy swimming, canoeing, boating, and hiking on the 5 acre property. The house has 2 baths and 3 bedrooms: 2 twin beds, one bunk bed (full size bottom and twin top, which can be converted into a trundle) and a queen bed in the master bedroom. There are also two pull out queen sofa beds. One is located in the main living quarters and the other is on the first floor. Lake views can be seen from the first and second floors as well as the master bedroom. Relax; enjoy dinner on the deck or in the screened porch, unwind in the hot tub while watching the enchanting sunsets. Come and relish the majestic scenery.

Amenities: Available for your use is a canoe, paddle boat, rubber rowboat and private dock. Life jackets are provided. The house has a beautiful stone fireplace as well as central air conditioning. The house is equipped with a washer/dryer, dishwasher, microwave, 2 TV’s, VCR and DVD player and Weber gas grill. Linens are provided. Weekly cleaning service is included at end of rental.

Activities: Golfing is just 5 minutes away at Burden Lake Country Club. Skiing at Jiminey Peak and Brodie Mountain is 20 minutes away. The house is located 20 minutes from historic Albany. Visit the many attractions in the capital city. Enjoy antiqueing in nearby Massachusetts. Take day trips to Lake George or Howe Caverns. Take a boat tour of the Hudson River. Bet on the horses at Saratoga.

Burden Lake is a quiet, private 3 mile long lake. There is no public marina which minimizes boat traffic. If you enjoy fishing bring your poles and catch some bass. In the winter, sleigh ride down the hill on the property, ice skate, snowmobile or ice fish.
