Built in 1895, Camp Minnowbrook is one of the oldest and largest great camps on Lake Placid. With room to sleep 28 we are a perfect place for large families, reunions, weddings and other gatherings.
We are situated on the waterfront of Lake Placid which gives us the best views of the lake and Whiteface Mtn. Our enormous Main Lodge has 3 stone fireplaces and a large veranda overlooking the lake and our dock with a sandy beachfront.
Our Guest House and Bunkhouses are a few feet away and provide comfortable living. With 6 bedroom, 2 1/2 baths, a fully equipped kitchen, sittingroom and livingroom with a stone fireplace; the Guest House sleeps 15. The Bunkhouses are a few feet from the Guest House. One has 10 bunkbeds,3 sinks, shower and 2 private stalls. The other has 2 queensize beds, a eat-in kitchen and private bathroom.
All the buildings are on 2 acres of open land with large waterfront lawn areas. Enough space to have a large gathering with enough room to have privacy and relax.
