Watch the wildlife go by through the picture windows in our beautiful farmhouse near Woodstock, New York. This is a truly special place to get away from it all. The property is privately situated on a hill overlooking six acres of meadows, a seasonal stream and woodlands. Snuggle up in front of the woodstove. The house is decorated with simple, beautiful furnishings. The gardens and landscaping are breathtaking. There is a large porch along the rear of the house that leads to a bluestone patio. Steps lead down to a footpath that turns into a private trail through the property. This is a great getaway if you are looking for peace and quiet. It is also a great location for a family. We have done quite a lot of baby-proofing and we have a crib available too. This home is not available for parties or large groups. Smoking outside only. Please also ask us about the private, 1-bedroom guest cottage on the property that we will begin renting this spring.

We are located just two hours away from New York City, ten minutes away from all the great restaurants and swimming holes in and around Woodstock, near great skiing and hiking, and less than ten minutes away from all the major shops in Kingston, New York. There are also a number of wonderful restaurants nearby. And you can always enjoy the bird watching on our property. Other activities include: horseback riding, cross country skiing, tennis, snowboarding, visiting local cinemas.
