Description of this Chateaugay Lake Vacation Rental Country House

This lake front retreat is located on the beautiful Upper Chateaugay Lake in Merrill, NY. The house has 3 bedrooms, one full bath and one 1/2 bath. Two bedrooms have one double bed and the other has two single beds and a portable cot. The kitchen is fully equiped for cooking meals and has a serving bar with two stools for seating. The large central room has a dining area with a full-size table and comfortable chairs perfect for enjoying relaxing meals and quality time with friends and family. (playing cards and games provided) The central room also has a cozy living room with 2 sofas, a fireplace, a TV and DVD player. Outside there is an open sunny deck overlooking the lake with a dining set and lounge chairs. The deck opens to a grassy yard with a fire pit for evening entertainment. The side of the house towards the private lane has a covered patio with a gas grill and picnic table perfect for barbecues. The house is also equiped with a dishwasher, phone, washer and dryer. Below the grassy yard is a private sandy area perfect for swimming, launching canoes and kayaks. This area of the lake is the perfect spot for boating, swimming, fishing, and relaxing while enjoying the lovely views.
