Our Hudson Valley Cabin is a lovely log cabin designed for 2 that sits on 85 acres of "high quality forest habitat" and shares it's 3.5 acre lake with no one but the abundant wildlife!
The closest neighbor is 1/4 mile away assuring our guests of total privacy.
The cabin has a picture window that overlooks the covered front porch with its hanging chairs and the lake itself.
Our guests spend hours exploring the woods and the lake. Large mouth bass provide entertainment for fishermen and the rowboat or dock provide convenient places to fish from.
The large living room has a fieldstone fireplace (we provide the wood) and a comfortable queen sized sofa bed with memory foam mattress. There is a fully equipped kitchen as well as outdoor cooking facilities - gas grill and also a charcoal BBQ.
In season you will find a fresh herb garden at the dock area.
Hammocks, hanging chairs, and benches are scattered about for your lounging pleasure!
We are about 12-15 miles from the historic and picturesque Hudson Valley towns of Rhinebeck, Hyde Park, Red Hook, Millbrook, and Pine Plains with their fine restaurants, museums, and antique shope.
I think the very best thing about our cabin and its surroundings is the total privacy and peacefullness you will find - a real escape from your ordinary world!! A true vacation and a great way to re-kindle a romance. Many birthdays, anniversaries, and honeymoons have been celebrated successfully at the cabin!! |

Our rates remain constant througout the year. September thru May we have a 2 night minimum except on Holiday weekends. June, July, and August we rent by the full week only from Friday to Friday. |

- Rates are based on an occupancy of: 2
- Minimum stay: 2 Nights
- 12.13% Lodging Tax
- Other fees: Refundable $300 security deposit for first time guests
- Deposit: $300 refundable deposit which will be returned within one week of departure assuming there is no damage. in advance
- Check-In: 3 p.m.
- Check-Out: 12 a.m.
