Description of this Natural Bridge Vacation Rental Cabin

If you’re looking for a quiet and tranquil place to stay, this is it. This rustic, cozy, log sided cabin is surrounded by white pine, red pine, birch trees and plenty wildlife to see and hear all year around! It is located in a gated private area called "White Pine Pond" The cabin is flanked by two beautiful ponds. No motor boats, or highway noise are heard here! We have approximately 14acres and 400feet of waterfront to enjoy year round.

The main 10 acre pond is stream fed, a half mile long, and yours to recreate. Hiking, biking, canoeing, near by ATV areas, and the best panoramic star gazing to be had adjacent to the cabin (no light pollution). Winter may offer ice-skating, cross country skiing, snowshoeing, snowmobiling and more.

The cabin uses propane gas lighting, and a few battery lights for convenience. One bedroom downstairs (double), and one upstairs (queen). Bring your own bedding, or we can provide for $25.00. One bathroom with tub/shower, bring your own towels. Pressure tank hot and cold running water (not potable). Will need to prime with generator when necessary, easy to do! (No generator between 9pm-9am, and only for running water use, or cleaning) Kitchen has sink, gas stove, and dining nook. Cooking and eating utensils are provided for. Two ice block coolers- (bring your own ice and additional cooler depending on your needs). Drinking and cooking water are prrovided. Great room offers comfortable seating, and great view of pond. Wood stove (glass front) heats entire cabin (hardwood provided). A d/c powered stereo CD/radio/AUX (iPod compatible) and DVD/TV are included for movies. Wraparound deck on first floor. Screened in upper porch for cozy morning coffee or an evening wine. Great sunrise and sunset viewing from either. Outside offers horseshoes, a picnic table, hammock, gas grill, fire pit and chairs, (firewood provided). Your own swimming beach area and canoe for pond use only. Fishing on the ponds are catch and release. Please... no live bait, except for worms. There is much to do in the surrounding area as we are situated closely to several state forests and a short distance from the "blue line". If you choose to leave our gated hideaway, you will find great walking, birding, mountain biking, cross country skiing, snowmobiling, ATV, and more minutes from the cabin door!
Lake Bonaparte is nearby (10 minutes) and offers great fishing, Carthage (Black River) 15 minutes, Harrisville 15 minutes, Tupper is 40 minutes (Natural Living Museum), and Snow Ridge ski center is about 45-60 minutes. Many township excursions or day trips can easily be done between Alexandria bay and Lake Placid.
This is a non-smoking cabin and no pets please. No hunting or discharge of firearms on the property or surrounding properties. Please respect what you see and leave for others to enjoy! Do not cut any trees live, or dead.
Must be 21 years of age or older to rent. A $250.00 security deposit is required upon reservation. Full payment 2 weeks prior to start date. Deposit is refundable within 15 days of departure and upon no missing property or damage of. Check-in 3pm, check-out 12noon. Two nightminimum, based on double occupancy. Each additional person is 10.00 per day. This cabin and setting are an excellent opportunity for a family, friendly get together, or a couple’s romantic getaway on White Pine Pond. A complimentary pint of local maple syrup awaits you!
