Woodstock, New York, isn’t the place you might think it is.  Yes, it is home to a thriving and historic art scene.  And yes, music has a big share in the cultural life here.  But it’s not that Woodstock.  As a matter of fact, Woodstock ‘69 was held more than 40 miles away, outside of the town of Bethel.
