Warrensburg, New York Vacation Rentals

Warrensburg, New York, has a semi-known claim to fame:  it’s where American novelist James Fenimore Cooper wrote The Last of the Mohicans.    It’s also home to a biker weekend in June and the “World’s Largest Garage Sale” during the first weekend in October.

What to Do:  There’s other reasons to consider booking a vacation home or cottage rental in the town of Warrensburg.  One is location.  The Schroon River makes up an appreciable feature in the local scenery.  Warrensburg is also located in the southeast corner of the Adirondack Park.  It’s approximately five miles to Diamond Point, on the shores of Lake George.  And in the town itself, the narrow streets retain their charm, thanks to tree-lined roadways and historical houses.
