Interesting fact: according to one website, the Upper East Side is home to over 4,000 trees. The Upper East Side borders Central Park and contains part of Madison Avenue and Fifth Avenue.

With all its wealthy residents, its history-rich past, and its habit of attracting celebrities, you may be mentally comparing the Upper East Side to Tribeca. That’s not entirely accurate, although owning a house or apartment in either neighborhood in expensive. But that’s why there are vacation rentals - so you can see the best of any area without having to live there permanently. Upper East Side is particularly well-known for the collection of Museums along Museum Mile. These include the Whitney, the Frick Collection, and the Guggenheim.
