Summer in Sidney, NY

Sidney is the name of a small New York town on the border of the Catskill region.  The town itself is in northern Delaware County, bordering Otsego and Chenango counties; likewise, this section of the Catskill foothills is not too far from the Finger Lakes region.

Sidney occupies a convenient spot on the Susquehanna River.  In fact, the area occupied by this town of about 5,000 people also played home to several Native American tribes.  These days, Sidney plays home to an Art and Music Festival in the summertime, where residents and visitors alike can go to enjoy food, music, and local crafts.
