Fire Island Destinations:  Seaview Vacation Rentals

Fire Island is only about 31 miles long and its width is measured in feet, not fractions of a mile.  But for all that, this barrier island located off the coast of Long Island packs a diverse group of villages, towns, and hamlets into its space.  From a vacation rental in the hamlet of Seaview, for example, you can reach both Robert Moses State Park on the western tip of the island and Fire Island National Seashore on the eastern, but in between, you’ll see places that cater to everyone from party-lovers to families.

Getting There:   By car, the best way to get to Seaview is via the Bay Shore Ferry.

Seaview is located next to Ocean Beach, the busiest town on Fire Island.  It’s also home to many of the island’s restaurants, bars, and shops.  So from your Seaview vacation rental, you can experience all the best things about Ocean Beach with just a bit of space and quiet between you and the hustle and bustle.
