Great Sacandaga Lake occupies part of three counties: Fulton, Saratoga, and Hamilton.  There are four towns that touch the shores of the lake.  These are Broadalbin (on the southern shores), Mayfield (on the southwestern corner of the lake), Edinburg (to the north) and Northville (on the north fork of the lake).  Note: Don’t get Great Sacandaga Lake confused with another, much smaller Adirondacks lake, Sacandaga Lake.
