Vacation Rentals in Roanoke and Riverhead

Roanoke is a community within the larger town of Riverhead, which is just outside of the North Fork area of Long Island.  Roanoke Vineyard is one of the famous spots of this area, but it’s not the only one.  If you’re looking for a vacation rental for the North Fork of Long Island or a vacation home or apartment rental in the heart of things, consider Riverside and Roanoke.

Where:  Roanoke and Riverside are just  west of the village of Aquebogue, the first of the 11 towns and hamlets that make up Long Island’s North Fork.  If you’re looking to fly in to the area, Long Island MacArthur Airport is about 30 miles to the west; LaGuardia and JFK Airports in New York City are considerably further way - about 70 miles west of Riverhead. Riverhead is on the north side of Long Island and it faces the Long Island Sound.

What to Do and See:  Riverhead is home to both the Long Island Aquarium & Exposition Center and the Long Island National Golf Club.  It also hosts Tanger Outlet Centers, which in turn houses over stores.  Families will enjoy visiting the water parks and in the area; there’s also plenty of opportunity to head to the beach, as families have done for ages.
