The Five Boroughs of New York City: Queens

In the city of New York, Queens is the borough to the east.  On the eastern edge of NYC and the western edge of Long Island, there lies Queens County and the borough of Queens.  It’s the most ethnically diverse area in the United States, and this diversity is reflected in the variety of art, music, and activities that you can see or do in Queens.

If you’re getting to your Queens-area vacation rental via the airport, Queens is home to both JFK and LaGuardia Airports.  A vacation rental in Queens may not offer the same iconic Big Apple sights (such as the Manhattan Skyline, for example), but it is replete with things to do and see.  Plus, with Brooklyn to the south, a piece of Manhattan to the northwest, and the Bronx to the north, you’ll be in range of almost anything you want to see.
