Saratoga Springs has been luring visitors for well over 100 years, drawing them in by means of promoting health (the mineral springs and their supposed curing powers were famous in the 19th century and earlier) and horses (the Saratoga Racetrack is both old and famous).
Where is Hadley?
Hadley is approximately 20 miles north of Saratoga Springs and 55 miles north of Albany and the Albany International Airport. Why consider a vacation rental in Hadley if you’re going to Saratoga Springs? Hadley is out of town - you’ll get a break from the pace of city life - but it’s not so far out that you can’t easily drive in. Also, from your Hadley area vacation rental, you can visit Great Sacandaga Lake, the Adirondack Park, and Lake George without having to drive more than 40 miles.
What Can I Do in the Greater Saratoga Springs Area?
While the springs have lost some of their medicinal sheen, there are still plenty of reasons to visit New York’s summer playground. There’s also the Food and Wine Festival, the Jazz Festival, and plenty of concerts by noted artists of all genres.
