On the shores of Tiana Bay and tucked in among Quogue, Quioque, and Hampton Bays, East Quogue has a lot to offer vacationers.  And location isn’t the least of it - New York City is just over 80 miles to the west.  This neighborhood has been drawing visitors for literally hundreds of years. 

The Hamptons have another cachet - as the playground of the rich, artistic, famous, or any combination thereof.  It makes a great place for a finding a vacation rental home.   

If you’re thinking of flying in, Long Island’s MacArthur Airport is 30 miles to the east, but incoming commercial carriers are limited to Southwest and US Airways.  For a greater selection of carriers, LaGuardia and JFK Airports are 75 and 82 miles to the west.

So what activities are open to residents and visitors in East Quogue?  There’s the traditional summer activities:  horseback riding, tennis, sailing, and golf. Plenty of historical sites and museums are sprinkled around the Long Island area.

For a more rustic feel, you might consider heading to a nature preserve or doing a bit of fishing.  Surfing has become very popular, and the beaches in general are always attractive to visitors.  Finally, if a bit of pampering is in order, there are wineries and spas within easy reach. 

With a coastline somewhat guarded by a succession of bays, the Long Island community of East Quogue is an idyllic spot for a summer vacation rental home.
