Getting to Know Saratoga Springs: Cossayuna

Are you looking to get away from it all for a week or two - but not quite that far away?  Do you want to have the unspoiled beauty of upper New York without being miles away from civilization?

If you’re looking for a vacation rental that can fill both of these needs, consider the town of Cossayuna.  Placed within reach of both noted resort city of Saratoga Springs and the wilds of the Adirondack Mountain, staying at a vacation rental here is one way to get the best of both worlds, New York-style.

Where is Cossayuna?

Cossayuna is approximately 25 miles east of Saratoga Springs and about 45 miles north of Albany.  It is also an hour’s drive from the boarders of the Adirondack State Park in Fort Ann, New York.

What Can I Do in Cossayuna and the surrounding area?

Saratoga Springs offers a lot of activities.  Got kids?  Eagle Mills Cider Mill and Family Fun Park is an hour away in Broadalbin, which is on the banks of Great Sacandaga Lake.  The Saratoga Race Course and the town’s multiple mineral springs are well-known; you can also experience some top-flight shopping, dining, museums, historical sites, art galleries, and golf courses.

If you hear the siren song of untamed nature calling, you’re in a position to answer it.  From Cossayuna, you can visit the Adirondacks (one hour by car) or drive over the border to Vermont to see Green Mountain National Forest (two hours‘ drive).
