How to Visit Copenhagen Without Stepping On Board an Airplane

That’s right - you can visit Copenhagen without stepping on a airplane or a boat.  No air anxiety, no seasickness - as long as your destination is Copenhagen, New York.

Fittingly enough, Copenhagen, New York, lies right next to Denmark, New York.  It’s not like its namesake in many ways - the most striking being that it’s in the Adirondack Mountains and not on the shores of the North and Baltic Seas, and secondly that it is rather smaller.  Like many little towns in the Adirondacks, though, it offers a lot in the way of winter sports, particularly snowmobiling.

Copenhagen can be a great place to nestle, summer or winter, in a vacation rental.  Instead of crowding into a hotel or a resort, many people prefer the space and quiet of a home.  If - like many travelers - you don’t own a second home, consider a Copenhagen-area vacation rental.  It’s convenient to Watertown, the Adirondack State Park, Fort Drum, and Lake Ontario.  It’s also fairly convenient to one of the world’s destination cities:  Montreal, Quebec, is a mere 90 minutes away.

So if you’re looking for a time to relax in your own vacation rental in Copenhagen without the high cost of airfare, make it a New York State vacation!
