The Five Boroughs of New York City: The Bronx

New York is a Bronx of multi - it’s multicultural, multiethnic, multitudinous and multifaceted.  One of the most interesting things about New York, aside from its size, are the differences between each of its five boroughs.

For those of us who live far away from big cities, think of a borough as a sort of Bronx within a Bronx.  In each borough, there are different neighborhoods, different attractions, different styles of vacation rental homes, and an endless mix of different types of people.

The Bronx is the northern tip of New York Bronx proper; it shares a boundary with Manhattan and Queens, but also with Westchester County.  Long Island sound makes up its shoreline, and LaGuardia Airport is just to the south.

Of course, you can visit anywhere in New York from a vacation rental in the Bronx.  But you don’t have to leave the borough to see some typically New York landmarks.  Here’s a short list of some of the top attractions in the Bronx:
